Mod Podge Birdy....Tweet Tweet!

I fell in love with this barnyard scrapbooking paper and I just knew I had to make something with it.  The paper is by The Paper Studio and the bird shape is from Michaels.  The wing is the heart shape from our line of Podgeable Shapes for Mod Podge.

This was so quick to make!  First, I traced the bird onto the back of the paper.  Next, I cut out the bird shape.  I applied a coat of Mod Podge to the back of the paper and positioned it onto the bird.  I let it dry for 10 min and then top-coated with a layer of Mod Podge.

I applied the old book pages to the back of the heart Podgeable shape the same way as the bird.

I used hot glue to attach the heart Podgeable, ribbons and rhinestones to the wood bird.

Super Quick! Super Fun! xo Cathie

DIY: Photo Transfer Technique with Mod Podge and it's on a baby onesie!

I am smitten with the new Photo Transfer formula of Mod Podge.  You can transfer black and white or color copies to fabrics, glass, tin...etc.  For this project we used a baby onesie from the dollar store and graphics from The Graphics Fairy.  We have a video on this technique coming soon!

The process is simple....remember you image must be copied on a toner copier....NO INKJET!  Also - reverse your text! :)

Make a Statement Necklace with Mod Podge Podgeables

Here is a new design using the crown Podgeable shape from our Mod Podge line of goodies.  This was made by drilling holes in the top (you could glue bails) and layering a smaller Podgeable shape to the top.  To create the glitter glass like finish I used Dimensional Magic.  To learn more about the shapes, watch this video at YouTube to learn more about Dimensional Magic, watch this video at YouTube.  BTW....All the papers used are from our line of papers for Mod Podge.

Sweet and Chic Mod Podge Podgeable Frame

Podgeables Picture Frame

Megan from Balancing Home has us smitten with her adorable frame!  She used the bird Podgeable shape to create her embellishment.  When we deigned them we had the concept of gluing them to home decor and mixed media projects in mind.  We were delighted when we discovered how nicely they drilled. To learn more about drilling visit this post.

Podgeable Acrylic Shapes, Papers and Rub-ons are available all Michaels in the US and Canada.

Thanks for stoping by and I hope you enjoyed this project!
