Well I used to be fascinated with how you could peel hot glue off of everything... When I was about 14 I thought it would be fun to pull it off my thumb nail. Well dab of hot glue, some serious pain, and a bruised nail bed later, I learned my lesson!

ReplyDeleteI love using hot glue; I just get a little intimidated by it (I'm very clumsy and burn myself often). I've been wanting to create a few more things; and these would help. Thanks so much for the chance!!! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a love/hate relationship with my glue gun. I love using it, and use it with most of my crafts, but I have burned my fingers so many times I just want to unplug it and put it far back in the closet! Thanks for the chance to win an awesome solution to my problem!
sallie828@yahoo.com
I follow you in Google Reader! I majorly burned my thumb and two fingers this Christmas and had to go to bed with a washcloth filled with ice. I had no idea it could be that painful! I've been hot gluing for years and never burnt that bad before! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHot glue guns- burned finger tips is all I can remember about those wonderful tools!
ReplyDeleteI follow. A story? More like horror story...torture, burning, disfiguring! HA! I could really use these tools..thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity! Over 20 years ago when I got married it was quite a DIY affair. Our theme was th 1930's, and I wanted to decorate with vintage hat boxes filled with little vintage items (hats, handbags, gloves, men’s accessories, hankies, vintage toiletries). I made all the hat boxes from scratch cardboard and covered them in vintage fabric. Hours and hours of hot-gluing later, and I walked down the isle with my hands covered in blisters. We hadn't come a long way in the glue gun world since then, until now. Thank you for your ingenious products!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I might just start watching the HSN channel now. As far as stories go, just the usual burns and blisters. Thanks for the opportunity to end all that!
ReplyDeleteHanneke
I follow your blog! Plus, it'd be awesome to get rid of the burns and having to trim the 'strings' that are left over from pulling my finger off the melted glue after ever craft! lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! Hot glue guns are HOT, hot glue scars are NOT! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletegreenishmama @ g mail . com
I follow the blog! My hubby hates watching me with a hot glue gun because it's too painful for him to watch me change my fingerprints with the hot glue ;)

ReplyDeleteWell, I don't think there is room enough for my hot glue gun story...let's just say I could have stolen an expensive painting at a museum after the ordeal....because I had NO fingerprints left...I can laugh now but a trip to the ER was not fun! Need I say more!! I have put off using my hotglue gun many a times because of the ordeal but do still love it.

I've been following for a while now, would love to win this to protect myself from that HOT glue!
ReplyDeleteI have been using hot glue guns since I was 8 and in 4-H. The finger guards would come in handy with younger kids so they don't burn their fingers. And I would love them, too!
ReplyDeletenstoutner@hotmail.com
I'm already a follower. I NEED some finger protection!
ReplyDeleteasklisam@gmail.com
I would love to win some of these, and I would share them with my sister. Just this weekend, we were crafting with our glue guns, and we BOTH burned the tips of our fingers! :) We laughed and blamed it on our genes.
ReplyDeleteAnd if that's the truth, we are in big trouble! Pick me (us!) !
As is the case with just about anyone using a hot glue gun, I burn my fingers almost every time. Thanks for coming up with the hot glue gun helper and for this opportunity to win! I've never won anything on a blog, but I keep trying. Maybe this will be a winner.
ReplyDeleteI follow you!
ReplyDeleteJust last week I was making some fabric flowers and got glue all over my finger tips. I just stopped for a sec, peeled it off and kept on! My husband was like "Doesn't that HURT!?", well-yes-but I HAVE to make these flowers!
I'm following here, too! WANT this! lol
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. A glue gun story.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson was up early one morning talking to his mom. He said "my grandma isn't old like some grandma's some grandma's go to the hospital when they get hurt. When gma burns herself with the glue gun she just cusses."
I sometimes slip in fron of the kids.
would love to win this, the paddle is such a great idea to smear the hot glue. rita_r_r at hotmail .com
ReplyDeleteLOVE my hot glue gun! Use it all the time. Having a Hot Glue Gun Helper would be so useful. Thank you for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteIf only I had this kit 10 years ago I would not have a quarter sized scare on my hand from a hot glue gun. I was working on a 3-D paper art project and the paper flipped over and caught the back of my hand.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my hot glue gunS...I have more then one. I have used them from making my raving clothes when I was in high school to almost every craft I do now a days. My step daughter and I made Valentines crafts this past month and poor thing she burned the crap out of her finger!!! I just told her "now your a true crafter! it happens to all of us....multiple times!" We would both be using this kit :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching!!

fab giveaway! my glue gun tales, or should i say nightmares, are numerous, but the worst was probably when i glued my thighs together. yes, i said thighs. i was wearing shorts, sitting on the floor & crafting away, when lo and behold, i dropped some hot glue. yes it hurt, but my pride hurt worse than anything! i've also glued fingers together, but it's not hear as bad. LOL!! ;-) oh, my info: crystal beshear @ yahoo. ca
