Make it: Tricked Out IKEA Cork Board

Corkboard for my new CRAFT Room!

This was made with an old cork board from a yard sale ($1.00) and the UNG Drill frame from Ikea ($24.99). This project took under 30 minutes.

Begin with a frame. Remove the glass and backing.

Trace around the glass onto a cork board with a sharpie.

Use a coping saw to cut around the sharpie lines.

All cut out and ready to reassemble in the frame.

  2. Love this idea! I've embellished corkboards before, including painting their existing frames, but I don't know why it never occurred to be to cut one into the correct size!
