Make it: Tricked Out IKEA Cork Board

Corkboard for my new CRAFT Room!

This was made with an old cork board from a yard sale ($1.00) and the UNG Drill frame from Ikea ($24.99). This project took under 30 minutes.

Begin with a frame. Remove the glass and backing.

Trace around the glass onto a cork board with a sharpie.

Use a coping saw to cut around the sharpie lines.

All cut out and ready to reassemble in the frame.

  1. This looks awesome! I did a similar project that I posted on my blog about a month ago...I just wish it looked as good as yours!!!!

  2. Love this idea! I've embellished corkboards before, including painting their existing frames, but I don't know why it never occurred to be to cut one into the correct size!

  3. Hi...
    This is sooooo cute!!!
I might have to give this a whirl sometime soon!!!

  4. I really like this!! Totally cute!

I love comments and questions. Sometimes it takes me a few days to reply. Have a wonderful day!
