DIY: Fabric Appliqué Thanksgiving Placemat {no sew}

Use up your fabric scraps and burlap bits to make this quick and easy Thanksgiving placemat.  This project was designed for Plaid.  For more crafty ideas... check out all of our Plaid projects here and visit our "All About Cathie and Steve" board at Pinterest.

What you will need:
Fall themed fabric
Burlap fabric
Foam paintbrush
Mod Podge Fabric
Mod Podge Craft Glue
Felt leaf rim

1. Cut a fall leaf shape from the fabrics. Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge Fabric to the back of the leaves. Working on the corner of the placemat, glue the leaves to the corner. Tear a strip of fabric to fit the side edge of the placemat, attach with Mod Podge Fabric.

2. Glue a strip of felt leaves down the edge and cut leaves to the leaves. Glue a button in the center of the leaf motif.
