BOW WOW WOW Color Proofs Arrived Today!!

You might remember back to a post from this summer where I had just finished the 18 hour photo shot for my new sewing book. Not to mention the entire summer sewing dog costumes and accessories.

I am so thrilled - I can hardly stand it!!!! The color proofs of my new sewing book, Bow Wow WOW!: Fetching Costumes For Your Fabulous Dog, just arrived today! I have one night to do my last set of notes so I'll be burning the midnight oil. Don't worry I'll have Idol and my hubby to keep me company!

The dogs look so cute in all the costumes - they bring a huge smile to my face! The book is loaded with accessory patterns and over 35 different costumes for your pooch as well as everyday looks.

Dog Costume Book: Photo Shoot Day

I have not blogged in sooooo long because I am going nuts in book world....

Good News about the Creative Juice book - it is finally shipping into most Barnes and Noble stores. You can do a zip code search for you area here.

The book tour this summer was so much fun! We had a blast at every stop and really enjoyed meeting all the amazing creative people.

I have exciting news.....I just finished my second book! The book is outrageously funny and cute. The working title is Dog Costumes. In the book I have created 2 pattern styles that can be altered into 39 different costumes plus, hat patterns,shoe patterns, bandanna ideas and 20 different leashes and collars. We have plenty of step by step pics so it is great for beginners and advanced sewers.

I sewed my fingers to the bone this summer. We did the photo shoot on Monday and Tuesday (Tuesday was a 18hr day) and my friend Zach (he works on CJ with us) took all the pics. He did and amazing job! If anyone in LA needs a photographer - email me and I'll hook you up with him. Many thanks to Erin, Gina, Jen and EYEleen for helping out!

The bummer news.... The book will be released in October 08... I know it stinks waiting a whole year!

DePaul Book Signing!

We had such a great time at DePaul! We met some lovely CJ watchers. One gal (Dawn?)makes the cutesiest Little Kiddle jewelry. Her earring were so adorable...she said she will start selling on etsy soon. I know I will getting a pair of her earrings. :)

We met tons of kids! Everyone choose their own kooky kritter supplies and took home bottles of Mod Podge!

Chicago was so fun....The best part was getting to see all of Steve's family! xoxoxoxo


After the signing we had delicious appetizers and cocktails with comcast at The Chicago Firehouse restaurant. They were comcastic!



We still had a little energy so we headed to the CUBS game! Check out all the people on the roof. We did not actually go in the game we went to the famous "Cubby Bears"




I am still tired from Chicago! Tomorrow morning I fly to Tulsa, Oklahoma for my Grandmother"s 99th birthday and a book signing at Barnes and Noble on August 9th at 7:00pm. The best part about the Tulsa trip is that my hubby will be joining me and I get to see my family! YEA!

Our new book, Creative Juice - 45 re-crafting projects, is in bookstores now!

The book was a labor of love. We put the book together while filming Creative Juice.....Many weekends of work and late nights.

We are also preparing for a book tour!
