Monogram Pumpkin made with Mod Podge, Fishnet Tights and Glitter

I love monogram pumpkins!

For this design we wrapped a jumbo ivory colored foam pumpkin with fishnets.  We scored the tights at the dollar store.  We Mod Podged a letter with some Halloween paper, glittered the edges and hot glued it to the front. to the center front.  It was super easy and really did not take long at all!  We designed this for Plaid....see more designs here.

What You Will Need:
Foam pumpkin
Fishnet tights
Mod Podge ® 3 Piece Silicone Finger Caps
Hot glue
Large wood letter
Pencil
Scrapbook paper
Mod Podge ® Gloss
Foam paintbrush
Chunky gold glitter

1. Stretch fishnet tights over the pumpkin so the waist opening is at the top. Hot glue the waist band around the stem of the pumpkin. (Gather as you go and wear Hot Glue Finger Caps for protection)

2. Trace the letter onto a piece of Halloween themed scrapbook paper. Cut out the design. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the back of the paper and position onto the letter. Smooth any air bubbles with your finger. Wait 15 min and top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge.

3. Apply Mod Podge around the edges of the letter, sprinkle the chunky glitter into the glue. Let the glitter sprinkle onto the letter and the edges.

4. Hot glue the letter to the center of the pumpkin.

PROJECT TIP: When glittering with Mod Podge, do it over a file folder so you can easily filter the glitter back into the jar.
