Innovations Award, Plaid Craft TV and CHA

Innovations Award Nominee!

Steve and I are so thrilled to announce that our Hot Glue Gun Helpers have been nominated for the Innovations Award at CHA! We were selected along with 20 other distinguished products as the top new innovative products.  I am not sure what day they announce the winner...but, we already feel like winners and we get to participate in the Sneak Peek media and buyer event.  CHA is always blast - seeing old friends and making new ones, looking at all the new products and getting inspired to create - it really is a blast and this nomination is the icing on the cake!

Friday 28th - 4:00 – 5:00 Innovations Award Presentations

During this event we will demo the new tools to a select group of media and buyers. I have made tons and tons of projects to have on display. I might have gone a little overboard - lol.  I just wanted to show all the ways Hot Glue crosses over to scrapbooking, altered art, jewelry making, fashion designs, weddings and of course floral design.

This will be on display! A hot glued paper and silk flower frame!

Bake it: Brunch Casserole

 Bake it: Brunch Casserole

I have a top secret ingredient in this breakfast casserole...it is stuffing and it makes the most delicious and savory addition to the eggs.  For years, I dried my own bread for this recipe and now due to time, I cheat with stuffing and ya know...I like it better.  The herbs add such a delicious flavor.

What you will need:

2 cups stuffing mix (I like the chicken flavor)
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cooked and drained sausage
6 eggs, beaten
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt

Let's Cook!

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahremheit

In a large bowl, combine stuffing, onions, mushrooms, cheese and sausage.

 Beat six eggs.

Add the eggs and milk to the mixture and combine well.

Bake in a greased 9X11 baking diah for 45 minutes or until firm.
Serve warm.  Will slice like quiche.
