Hosting a simple gathering with a few nibblers and summer wines is the perfect party. I have crafted up a few ideas to make your party a smashing success.
Make it: Simple and Chic Party Invite
Materials:
Blank invitation
FolkArt Paint - 503 Yellow Citron
Water
Paint tray or paper plate
Glass wine glass
Letter stickers or print out
Hole punch
Sheer ribbon
Steps:
1. Add 3 squirts of paint to the paint tray. Water down the paint by slowly adding water to the paint until you have liquid consistency. Dip the base of the wine glass into the watered down paint and stamp in the center of the invitation. Allow to dry.
2. Add stickers, hand write or paste a print out in the center that reads "wine tasting". Add your party info inside the invitation.
3. On the side of the invitation, punch a hole through the front and back. Tie closed with a ribbon.

FolkArt Blending Gel
FolkArt Paint - 317 Morning Sun
FolkArt Paint - 412 Magenta
FolkArt Paint - 503 Yellow Citron

2 Paper Plates

Lime Green Yarn
Hot Glue
Steps:
1. Mix 1 part blending gel with 1 part paint. (do this for each color). Paint the corks with the blended paint. Leave some of the corks natural.
2. Layer the paper plates on top of each other. Cut a hole from the center to form a wreath shape. Hot glue the plates together. Cover the plates by wrapping them with yarn.
3. Hot glue the corks in a random layered pattern.
Paint a VINO chalkboard!
Materials:
Large wood oval
FolkArt Chalkboard Paint - slate gray
Soft chalk
Wood letters - VINO
FolkArt Paint - 434 Berry Wine
FolkArt Paint - 503 Yellow Citron
Dimensional Magic
Heavy duty glue - E6000
Steps:
1. Paint the wood oval with 3 coats of chalkboard paint. Allow to dry in between coats. Once dry, rub the entire surface with a piece of soft chalk to prime the surface. Wipe clean with a damp rag or eraser.
2. Paint the sides of the letters with the Berry Wine paint and the tops with the Yellow Citron paint. Allow to dry. Top coat with Dimensional Magic.
3. Glue the letters across the top of the chalkboard.
4. Optional Chalk Tray: paint 3 corks as described in the Cork Wreath and glue them to the chalkboard in a slight curve at the base of the board.

Mini Charms
Hoop Earring or Wine Charm Hoops
Steps:
1. Drill small holes near the top of the wood disks. Paint the disks with the FolkArt paint. Allow to dry. Place a letter sticker (one for each guests initial) in the center of the disk.
2. Add a top coat of dimensional magic. Allow to dry.
3. Thread a disk and small charm onto a hoop earring or wine charm hoop.
